Who We Are
Biblicalist is an independent, Scripture-centered Bible study website available at biblicalist.org. In this Privacy Policy, “Biblicalist,” “the Site,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Biblicalist website and its operation.
This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit or interact with the Site, why it may be used, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@biblicalist.org.
Information You Provide
Biblicalist may receive information that you voluntarily provide when you contact the Site, submit a question, complete a form, request assistance, or otherwise communicate with Biblicalist.
This information may include your name, email address, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, limited technical information may be collected automatically by the website server, hosting provider, security tools, or essential website services.
This may include your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, date and time of access, general location derived from an Internet Protocol address, and technical error or security information.
This information is used to deliver the Site, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse, and understand general website performance.
Site Search and Reader Preferences
Words or phrases entered into the Biblicalist search field are sent to the Site so that relevant pages can be returned. Search requests may appear in ordinary server or website logs.
Some Biblicalist pages may use browser storage to remember functional preferences, such as reading style, text size, theme, menu state, or sound preference. These settings are stored on your device and are used to improve the Site’s operation. You may remove them through your browser settings.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for security, page functionality, saved preferences, and reliable operation.
Third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with an embedded feature, follow an external link, or use a service provided by another company. Biblicalist does not use personal information for behavioural advertising and does not sell personal information.
Support and Payment Information
Financial support for Biblicalist is processed through PayPal. When you choose to support the work, you are directed to PayPal, and PayPal processes the payment under its own terms and privacy practices.
Biblicalist may receive limited transaction information, such as the supporter’s name, email address, contribution amount, date, transaction reference, and status. Biblicalist does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account credentials.
Transaction records may be retained when reasonably necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Where required by law, processing may be based on consent, legitimate operational interests, performance of a requested service or transaction, or compliance with a legal obligation.
How Information May Be Shared
Biblicalist does not sell or rent personal information.
Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the Site, such as website hosting, security, maintenance, email, storage, payment processing, or technical-support providers. These providers process information according to their own legal obligations and service terms.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, court order, lawful government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of Biblicalist, its readers, or others.
Third-Party Services and External Links
Biblicalist uses or links to services operated by other organizations. These may include Google Fonts, PayPal, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, website hosting, and security or infrastructure providers.
When the Site requests externally hosted fonts or other technical resources, the provider may receive technical information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser information, and the page making the request. When you follow an external link or interact with third-party content, that third party’s privacy policy and terms apply.
Biblicalist is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or content of external websites and services.
International Processing
The Site is accessible internationally. Website, payment, font, security, hosting, and social-media providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where applicable, Biblicalist and its service providers should handle international transfers through safeguards or other mechanisms recognized by relevant privacy law.
Data Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to a request, maintaining security, keeping required transaction or accounting records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary according to the type of information, the reason it was collected, and the requirements of the service provider involved. Information that is no longer reasonably needed should be deleted, anonymized, or allowed to expire through ordinary system processes.
Security
Biblicalist takes reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against accidental loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use care when sending personal information through the Internet.
Children’s Privacy
Biblicalist content may be read by individuals and families of different ages, but the Site is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, email info@biblicalist.org so that the matter can be reviewed and the information removed when appropriate.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal information held about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, or a portable copy of information you provided.
You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and to complain to the privacy or data-protection authority in your country or region.
Biblicalist may request reasonable information to confirm your identity before responding. Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is required by law, necessary for security, or needed to establish or defend legal claims.
Biblicalist does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
