THE GOSPEL · LESSON 02
IS SALVATION POSSIBLE?
Yes. Salvation is possible because God has provided the only way of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Salvation is possible, but not because man can save himself. Salvation is possible because God is merciful, Christ died for sinners, and the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.
The Bible teaches that all have sinned. No person can remove his own sin by good works, religion, church attendance, baptism, or personal effort.
If salvation depended on man’s goodness, no one could be saved. But salvation does not depend on man’s ability. It depends on God’s grace.
God did not leave sinners without hope. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and rise again. Because of Christ, forgiveness and eternal life are possible.
Salvation is not found in many ways. It is found in Jesus Christ alone. He is the Savior God provided for sinners.
The Bible gives real hope. Salvation is offered to sinners who repent and believe the gospel. The invitation is not only for the religious, the educated, or the strong. It is for sinners who come to Christ by faith.
Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ. A person must turn to God and trust Christ alone, not his own works or goodness.
Yes, salvation is possible. It is impossible for man to save himself, but God made salvation possible through Jesus Christ. Any sinner who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ can be saved.
